Overview

Located at the northern most point of the Italian peninsula, Trentino is a stunning, picturesque region. Perched in the heart of the Dolomite mountains, the zone combines several elements to create a unique microclimate ideally suited to the cultivation of great wine. Like their counterparts in nearby Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia, this is the ancestral home of Italy’s best white wines. These are wines that take full advantage of the rocky soils and high elevation to achieve incredible balance and structure, all coupled with a refreshing minerality that is hard to find elsewhere.

Founded and operated by the Pellegrini family, the estate’s vineyards are split between select parcels in the Cembra valley and Piana Rotaliana. Planted exclusively to the zone’s historic grape varieties — Teroldego, Muller Thurgau, Gewürztraminers, and Pinot Grigio— this sustainable, gravity-fed winery has been designed with a respect for the land and strives to achieve a limited ecological footprint. No chemical treatments are used, and both solar panels and steam are employed to reduce power and water usage.
