Produced near the village of Udine in the region's Friuli Grave sub zone, Collevento 921 is the brain child of the Durandi family.

Overview

Tucked into the Northeastern corner of the peninsula, the hills of Friuli Venezia Giulia form a natural amphitheater that faces the Adriatic. This is Italy's premiere growing region for white wine, a region long known for producing complex and elegant examples of Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurtztraminer, Ribolla Giala, Chardonnay, and Friulano.

Long recognized as growers and winemakers of premium qualitywines, the family also operates the famous 50-hectare Antonutti estate.

Making the most of a rocky, challenging microclimate, the winery is committed to the region’s traditional grape varieties and deeply rooted winemaking traditions. Grapes are harvested by hand, and vinification is exclusively undertaken in stainless steel. The ensuing products eloquently express the quality potential of the region with clean, varietally correct wines that are some of the best values available from Northern Italy.
