Overview

Few categories in the wine industry have seen as much growth in recent years as Moscato d’Asti. Once a simple low alcohol wine primarily enjoyed as an aperitif during the hot summer months, the grape has become a vibrant and meaningful part of business for restaurants and retailers the world over a call category for both the novice and experienced wine drinker alike. Founded in the aftermath of the First World War, the estate has grown over the years to encompass some 10 hectares. The position of the vineyards is ideally suited to the production of great wine, and the family is committed to creating superb examples of the region’s indigenous varietals — Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Moscato.

Created as a testament of their love for the Moscato grape, “La Morosa” is a rich and complex example of what the varietal can do in the right conditions. Floral with a full mouth feel, the wine is a superb food wine—the ultimate pairing for salads and other light fare. Also ideal as an aperitif, it is the quintessential patio wine.

Here’s to doing things the Italian way:  grab your partner for a romantic rendezvous today and show them your amorous side with “La Morosa”.
