Overview

Found on the Mediterranean coast, Liguria is one of Italy's culinary and tourism gems. Famous for its Olive Oil production, this tiny region is known as the birthplace of Pesto. Its rocky coastline also includes some of Europe's most famous seaside resort towns - Sanremo, Camogli, Portofino, and the picturesque villages of the Cinque Terre. Spread across the region's length, winemaking in Liguria is extremely limited in its annual production. Constrained at its borders by three different mountain ranges, most Ligurian vineyards are in proximity to the sea. All this makes for incredible scenery and a prime example of heroic viticulture. It also makes for extremely difficult growing conditions.

Founded in 1913, the winery owns several key vineyards in the Colli di Luni and Cinque Terre DOCs. This includes several parcels located on the famous hill of TraI Monti, adjacent to the Cinque Terre and home to the region's best white wines. All farming must be done by hand, leading to a strict selection process and some of the finest examples of Vermentino, Pigato, Sangiovese, and Bosca found in this part of Italy.
