Overview

Located near the historic city of Verona and Lake Garda, the 4 valleys of Valpolicella are home to some of Veneto’s most interesting wines. A longtime favorite of the American consumer, the zone has produced fantastic wines since Roman times. More recently, it has become famous for employing the medieval grape drying technique known as Appassimento and the creation of thick wines that are firmly structured, earthy, yet undeniably expressive in nature.

Made up of some 42 hectares split between 2 of Valpolicella's valleys, the estate is dedicated to quality and includes some famous cru sites for the production of Amarone. Special attention is paid to the vineyards, where a strict selection process ensures that the grapes which are harvested represent the finest available in the district. Traditionally softer and more fruit forward than many of the wines in the region, they offer a more food-friendly take on the Veneto's famed red wines.
